Registration

Balancing service provider - MOL and FLEX-MOL

As a balancing service provider, you can choose between two registration options:

  • Registration as a balancing service provider without a BGR contractual relationship with AGCS:
After successful registration, AGCS concludes a contract with the balancing service provider.
  • Registration as a balancing service provider with BGR Contractual relationship with AGCS:
The balancing service provider joins an existing BGR, which is a contractual partner of AGCS.

The contract for balancing service providers regulates the mutual rights and obligations, in particular the deposit of collateral in accordance with the Annex Risk Management and the financial settlement of invoices/credit notes.
The rights and obligations of a balancing service provider with a BGR contractual relationship are already included in the BGR contract.

To register as a balancing service provider, please send us the following documents:

  • Form E signed by the company
  • SEPA business-to-business direct debit mandate - the SEPA business-to-business direct debit mandate will be sent to you after AGCS has received your registration documents.
  • Current extract from the commercial register (Date of issue not older than 3 months; for companies based outside Austria, notarised and, if necessary, translated into German or English)

After the documents have been submitted and reviewed by AGCS, the data is entered into the clearing system. Following a technical review by MVGM to ensure that the requirements for participation in the physical balancing energy market have been met, the provider is set up and activated at the next possible date.
